We’ve always had a “barre” at the Pilates Barr. With all the buzz in the news and magazines about workouts like Power Barre, Pure Barre, Booty Barre®and Xtend Barre®, we just wanted to remind everyone that we have a barre at The Pilates Barr. Using the barre in group classes to sculpt and tone your “assets” has been part of what we do for a long time (10 years and counting). This work is derived from the Lotte Berk Method®, and targets the legs and glutes, utilizing core strength and precision alignment from Pilates. We at The Pilates Barr, believe that all parts of the body should be worked during any given class at our studio. Weight work for your arms and barre/standing work for buns and thighs are included for a complete body conditioning class.
